Your Growafrog is a ‘pond’ (NOT a RIVER) dweller. Growafrogs not only ‘prefer’ but NEED still water to survive.
STILL WATER (and this is VERY important) ONLY! LOTS of water movement is extremely harmful to your frog!
Have you ever noticed the ‘stitching’ on the back of your frog? That’s the lateral line system.
Its function is to sense water vibration so that your frog can thrive!
The lateral line system helps your frog with predator avoidance and sensing food.
Our little Growafrog filter is a LOW output sponge filter. It filters the water yet produces almost zero current.
We HIGHLY recommend sponge filters like our Growafrog filter or old-fashioned carbon and floss LOW output filters for all Growafrogs!
